- I have a lot of Amiga stuff that I would like to sell, all at once.
- Please read this posting carefully and consider purchasing all this from me.
-
- ================
- Amiga 3000 25MHz
- ================
- -- sticker inside reads A3000N SN 05020
- -- Commodore B2 motherboard Rev 8.9, A3000 Daughterboard Rev 7/01
-
- -- HARD DRIVE: 52MB Quantum Prodrive LPS
- -- FLOPPY DRIVE: Chinon FB-354 low-density internal drive
- -- A3000 KEYBOARD in perfect condition except the sticky down-arrow key
- -- MOUSE in excellent condition. Power cord.
-
- It is a SOFTKICK Amiga, it loads Kickstart from the hard drive.
-
- -- I also bought and still have an actual Kickstart ROM
- (chip reads: Commodore Amiga 390979-01 v2-04 37-175)
- but I do not know where to put it.
-
- Disks:
- -- A3000 Kickstart v2.0.4
- -- WorkBench 2.0
- -- A3000 Install Disk
- -- copies of WorkBench 2.1 disks
- -- useful and interesting software on the hard disk
-
- Books:
- -- "Introducing the Commodore Amiga 3000" book
- -- disgustingly thick "Using The System Software" book
-
- In short, a wonderful stock A3000/25 system. Works perfectly.
-
- =====================================
- ReadySoft AMax II+ Mac Emulation card
- =====================================
-
- -- AMax II+ card in excellent condition
- (AMax II+ has Mac printer ports and modem ports!)
-
- -- Amax 2.5.6 program and scsi.amhd driver
- (for creating Mac partitions on your Amiga hard drive)
-
- -- original AMax II+ manual
-
- Mac Disks:
- -- System 6.0.7 on low density floppies
- (System Tools, Utilities 1, Utilities 2, Printing Tools)
- -- Disks with ZTERM, VERSATERM terminal emulation programs
-
- ==========================================================================
- Here is the problem I have had with this system since the day I bought it
- which I have never been able to fix because I do not know what to do...
- ==========================================================================
-
- Pins 3 on the CN5 and CN4 floppy connectors of the AMax card
- have been snipped off. I do not know why, and it concerns me.
-
- There is a TWIST in one of the FLOPPY DRIVE 34-pin ribbon cables
- that switches pins 4 and 6. I do not know where this twist belongs...
- should pins 4 and 6 be switched near the Amiga motherboard, or at the
- AMax card, or at the internal floppy drive? I am to this day baffled.
-
- I can get everything AMax-related working, EXCEPT there is the following
- PROBLEM. You can read a Mac 800K floppy on the Amiga's internal drive
- just fine. But if you move an icon around on this floppy, or do any
- operation which writes to the floppy, it then becomes unreadable to an
- "ordinary" Macintosh (e.g. my friend's PowerMac running System 7.5).
-
- I began to suspect that the Chinon drive is not very AMax friendly.
- I have had fantasies about buying a Commodore HDFD and using it instead
- and having the problem go away, but I do not want to spend any more money.
-
- =================================================
- Here are extra items that I do not want any more
- and will include to make the deal more attractive.
- ==================================================
-
- EXTERNAL FLOPPY DRIVE: NEC FD1036A low-density external drive.
-
- DigiFeX corporation VIP unit
- (I have no idea what the hell this thing is.)
-
- An ORIGINAL! 512K Amiga 1000
- -- A1000 keyboard, A1000 mouse.
-
- with: an ORIGINAL AMIGA Genlock Interface
- (that fits snugly under the A1000)
-
- CATCH: The keyboard on the A1000 does not work.
- I have been told I need a new 8520 chip to make it work
- but I do not want to deal with this kind of stuff any more.
-
- The aforementioned Kickstart 2.04 ROM for the A3000.
-
- ==========================================
-
- I will not break this system up.
- I would like to ship it all to ONE PERSON
- who KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING when it comes to Amiga stuff.
-
- I approximate: A3000/25 $400, Amax II+ $125, other stuff $50
-
- and am asking $550.00 (we will split shipping costs). Please send email.
